8.4.1. Introduction

The system of release of the fulfilled gases consists of the forward final pipeline with the catalyst, an average and the basic muffler.

The forward final pipeline is connected by bolts to a final collector, which прифланцован to a head of the block of cylinders. All details are screwed together among themselves, and they can be changed separately. After dismantling it is necessary to apply self-stopped nuts and consolidations. Check up lock rings and a rubber emphasis on absence of porosity and damages, if necessary replace.

At assemblage of new system of release of the fulfilled gases it is recommended to replace and all hinged details.

PETROL ENGINES

It is possible to replace all details of system of release of the fulfilled gases separately.


The prevention

At assemblage of details of system pay attention to that they have been rigidly connected. Otherwise at carrying out of research of structure of the fulfilled gases it is possible to receive wrong results.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise the car.
2. Moisten with anticorrosive greasing all bolts and nuts of system of release of the fulfilled gases. Leave for some time bolts and nuts under the influence of anticorrosive greasing.
3. Unscrew from below the forward final pipeline from a final collector (158/1).
4. The 6-cylinder engine: remove the oxygen gauge.
5. Prop up system of release of gases wooden linings.
6. Unscrew on a support (10) bolts (10/3).
7. Turn off nuts (10/2) on a carving plate (10/1). Remove a carving plate.
8. Unhook rubber support (7/1), (9/1) (9/2), (158/2) by means of a self-made hook.
9. Ослабьте in the complete set system of release of the fulfilled gases also Take it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before installation of system of release of the fulfilled gases check up, whether the flange to a final collector is bent, if necessary level a flange.
2. Check up rubber support on absence of porosity or damages, if necessary replace them.
3. Establish the collected new system of release of the fulfilled gases, slightly tighten connecting flanges.
4. If again establish details of former system of release of the fulfilled gases clear наждачной a skin of the rests of combustion and corrosion of a place of connections.
The prevention

That it was possible to separate is easier nuts and bolts of system of release of the fulfilled gases later, we recommend to grease with their high-temperature paste, for example, "Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC".


5. Hang system of release of the fulfilled gases in rubber support (pillow).
6. By turn and displacement in a longitudinal direction level system of release of the fulfilled gases so that everywhere there was a sufficient backlash with a body and rubber support have been in regular intervals loaded.
7. Screw a carving plate with the moment 20 Н.м.
8. Tighten bolts on a connecting flange with the moment 20 Н.м., and on the forward final pipeline to a collector with the moment 30 Н.м.
9. The 6-cylinder engine: establish the oxygen gauge.
10. Start the engine and check up tightness of system of release of the fulfilled gases.
11. Lower the car.

DIESEL ENGINES

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Raise the car.
2. Remove the bottom cover of a motor compartment.
3. Spray all bolts and nuts of system of release of the fulfilled gases anticorrosive means and wait, while means will start to operate.
4. Unscrew from below a forward final gas pipeline on a final collector (158/1). (158) – the catalyst.
5. Prop up system of release of the fulfilled gases wooden racks.
6. Unscrew nuts (10/2), (8/2) on a carving plate (10/1), (8/1). Remove this plate.
7. Unhook rubber support (7/1), (9/1) independently made keys.
8. Release system of release of the fulfilled gases and take it.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Before assemblage of system of release of the fulfilled gases check up, whether the flange to a final collector is bent, in need of it it is necessary to verify.
2. Check up rubber support on porosity and absence of damages.
3. Fasten new system of release of the fulfilled gases, slightly tighten a connecting flange.
4. If old details of system of release are again established, places of connections clear наждачной a skin of residual products of combustion and corrosion.
The prevention

That nuts and bolts of system of release of the fulfilled gases could be unscrewed subsequently easily, it is recommended to miss the mark with their high-temperature paste, for example, "Liqui Moly LM-508-ASC".


5. Hang system of release of gases in rubber support.
6. By means of turn and displacement in a longitudinal direction сориентируйте system so that everywhere there was a sufficient interval in relation to a design and rubber support were in regular intervals loaded.
7. Screw a carving plate with the moment 20 Н.м. (Rough value).
8. Rigidly tighten with the moment 20 Н.м. Bolts on a connecting flange and bolts to the forward final pipeline on a collector.
9. Start the engine and check up tightness of system of release of the fulfilled gases.
