8.3.3. Atomizers
THE GENERAL DATA

Faulty atomizers unscrew by turns, weakening накидные nuts on топливопроводах a high pressure while the engine works in an idling mode on fast turns. If frequency of rotation of the engine after easing накидной nuts remains to a constant, it specifies in malfunction of an atomizer.

The repair truck can check up a stream of injected fuel and pressure of injection of an atomizer in limits from 100 to 125 bar and if necessary to make adjustment by means of replacement of an adjusting washer.

First signs of occurrence of malfunction in an atomizer:

 – Faults in ignition;
 – Detonation knock in one or in several cylinders;
 – An engine overheat;
 – Falling of capacity of the engine;
 – Excessively strong black dense smoke in the fulfilled gases;
 – High consumption of fuel;
 – The strengthened blue smoke at start-up of the cold engine

Removal

The fuel pump of a high pressure (the pump of atomizers) (the engine 2,0)

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cross-section pipe of the air filter.
2. Clean топливопроводы outside.
3. Unscrew топливопровод a high pressure (54), connecting an atomizer and the fuel pump of a high pressure, remove the holder, having removed spring clips, and will put it aside. Thus do not change the bent form топливопровода.
The prevention

For отворачивания накидных nuts on топливопроводах a high pressure the open ring wrench, type HAZET 4550-14 with 1/4 drive and the extension piece is required. 1/4 means that the length of an edging of a tetrahedral aperture on a key insert makes 1/4 inches.


4. Remove from an atomizer pipelines for plum of filtering fuel (50). Extend заглушку (52) from an atomizer of the fourth cylinder.
5. Unscrew an atomizer (30) by means of the face wrench SW 37 supplied with very long nozzle.
6. If is available, extend condensing plug.
7. Take a lining of an atomizer (53).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a new lining of an atomizer (113).
2. If is available, insert condensing plug (109) into a carving ring (112).
3. Screw in an atomizer (114) and hardly tighten it with the moment 30 Н.м. In addition represented details: 70 – a cylinder head, 71 – a lining of a head of the cylinder, 110 – the prechamber.
4. Spread the pipeline for plum filtering топлива.15. Screw high pressure pipelines on an atomizer and the pump and fix the holder spring clips.
5. Build in a cross-section pipe of the air filter.

ENGINES 2,2 / 2,5 L

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove a cross-section pipe of the air filter.
2. Unscrew a casing (6/1) covers of a head of the cylinder.
3. By means of suitable nippers pull on atomizers pipelines for plum of filtering fuel.
4. Unscrew from atomizers and the pump of atomizers топливопроводы a high pressure, remove from the holder spring clips and put aside. Thus do not change the bent form топливопровода.
The prevention

For отворачивания накидных nuts on топливопроводах a high pressure the open ring wrench, for example, HAZET 4550-14 is required.


5. Unscrew an atomizer (50) by means of face key SW27 with a long nozzle.
6. Take a lining of an atomizer (50/6).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Insert a new lining of an atomizer.
2. Screw in atomizers and hardly tighten them with the moment 40 Н.м.
3. Spread pipelines for plum of filtering fuel.

THE ENGINE IN VOLUME OF 2,2 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Screw on an atomizer and the pump (10) with the moment 10–20 Н.м. (Rough value) топливопроводы a high pressure from 55/1 to 55/4. To avoid a break of pipelines, it is necessary to establish fixing spring clips (56).
3. Establish a casing of a cover of a head of cylinders.
4. Establish a cross-section pipe of the air filter.

THE ENGINE IN VOLUME OF 2,5 L

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Screw on an atomizer and the pump (10) with the moment 10–20 Н.м. (Rough value) топливопроводы a high pressure from 55/1 to 55/5. To avoid a break of pipelines, it is necessary to establish according to drawing fixing spring clips (56).
3. Establish a casing of a cover of the cylinder.
4. Establish a cross-section pipe of the air filter.
