8.1.1. Introduction
THE GENERAL DATA

Cleanliness observance at work on fuel system

At work on fuel system observe following rules concerning cleanliness maintenance.

Carefully clear places of connections and their environment before their separation.

The dismantled details stack on a pure laying and cover them. Apply a film or a paper. Do not apply fleecy rags!

Carefully cover assembly details or close them on a turn-key basis if repair is made not soon.

Only directly ahead of assemblage take out spare details from packing. Establish only pure details.

Do not apply detail which were stored in an unpacked kind (for example, in tool boxes, etc.).

At open fuel system, whenever possible, do not work with compressed air. Try not to move the car.

Plums and fuelling

The prevention

Necessarily pay attention to good aeration of a workplace. Fuel steams are poisonous, avoid application of open fire because of danger of occurrence of a fire!

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. In addition make single run at the expense of fuel available in a tank.
2. Disconnect from the accumulator a weight wire (–).
The prevention

The anticreeping code of radio is thus erased.

3. Raise the car.
4. Reduce pressure of steams of fuel. For this purpose quickly open a cover of a bulk mouth of a fuel tank.
5. Remove a protective casing from the gauge of level of fuel. Pay attention to that electric wires or a hose for fuel plum were not clamped.
6. Remove штеккер from the gauge of level of fuel.
7. Unscrew a carving stopper of the drain valve.
8. Twist a drain hose together with запорным the valve in the drain gate.
9. Open a cover of a bulk mouth of a fuel tank, open запорный the valve and merge fuel in suitable capacity.
10. Take a drain hose and screw up a carving stopper with the moment 15 Н.м. Preliminary check up on damages a sealing ring of round section, if necessary, replace it.
11. Spread штеккер on the gauge of level of fuel, mount a protective casing.
12. Lower the car (clean a jack).
13. Fill in fuel through a bulk branch pipe. Pay attention, that dirt particles have not got to a fuel tank.
14. Close a fuel tank a cover.
15. Connect to the storage battery a weight wire. Establish time. Enter an anticreeping code of radio.
16. Start the engine and check up tightness of all connections.
