PETROL AND DIESEL ENGINES
The indicator of level of oil consists of the gauge of level of oil which is established on спускной to a stopper in the oil pallet, and a control lamp on the instrument panel. The indicator supervises oil level in the oil pallet, since temperature of oil +60 ° C. As soon as ignition joins, the control lamp burns for the functional control and dies away after the beginning of rotation of the engine.
Oil level in the oil pallet is reproduced by means of a float (358). At low level of oil (in the field of the bottom mark маслоизмерительного щупа) by means of a magnet (359) in a float opens геркон. Thanks to it electronics in the communication panel receives a signal, and the lamp lights up.
At the lowered level of oil, depending on a driving manner, at first the control lamp for a short while lights up, and then burns constantly.
That at various road situations, for example, at sharp turns to avoid false alarm signals, in the electronic scheme the delay line is built in. She allows to light up to a control lamp only after the alarm system of low level of oil during 60 seconds
For an exception of false indication at the cold engine (dense oil slowly pours out in the oil pallet) the gauge of level of oil is equipped by a bimetallic latching disk (352). It prevents work empty поплавковой chambers through a drain aperture (b) at low temperatures.
The bimetallic latching disk opens at temperature nearby +60 ° C and is closed at temperature nearby +30 ° C.
At oil replacement поплавковая the chamber is filled with oil through a ventilating aperture (). It excludes the subsequent false indication. The indicator of level of oil is established so that the control lamp lighted up shortly before level achievement "min" on маслоизмерительном щупе (a safety reserve). Thanks to it it is possible to fill in oil not at once, and at the nearest opportunity, for example, at refuelling.
