THE GENERAL DATA

The high expense of oil is a deterioration indicator маслоотражательных caps. Caps can be removed and at the established head of the block of cylinders. But compressed air and a lever pusher with the basic device, for example, Mercedes-111 589 015 900, 111 589 186 100, 605 589 006 300 and 604 589 006 300 is for this purpose necessary. If such tools are not present, at replacement of caps it is necessary to remove a head of the block of cylinders.

Removal

The prevention

If details of management are repeatedly used by the valve, they need to be established on former places. To avoid mess, make the special panel for their storage.



PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove camshafts.
2. Remove картер camshafts.
3. Remove atomizers.
4. Remove a cover for the complete set of wires of the engine at a forward wall of a body.
5. Screw a basic partition with a mobile detail of a lever pusher on a head of the block of cylinders. For this purpose it is possible to use bolts картера camshafts (М7х42).
6. By means of a wrench with a nozzle establish the piston of the corresponding cylinder in position ВМТ. The 4-cylinder engine: at position in ВМТ a belt pulley pistons of cylinders 1 and 4 stand in ВМТ. At coincidence 180 labels of a belt pulley with a label on картере are in position ВМТ pistons of cylinders 3 and 4.
7. The 5-cylinder engine: at position ВМТ of a belt pulley in a dead point there is a piston of the cylinder 1. After turn of a cranked shaft on a corner 144 , accordingly, in ВМТ the piston of the following cylinder in sequence (1–2–4–5–3) is established.
Instructions: it is possible to put, for example, on ременный a pulley four additional labels, accordingly on distance 72 . After replacement маслоотражательных caps of 1st cylinder rotate коленвал while the label 2 does not become opposite to a mark on картере. Thus the piston of the cylinder 2 will be established in ВМТ. Replace маслоотражательные caps of 2nd cylinder. After that scroll the engine to a mark (4). Now in ВМТ there will be a piston of 4th cylinder. Thus it is possible to establish consistently pistons in ВМТ.
8. Position ВМТ of the corresponding cylinder can be established also by means of an electrode wire. For this purpose pass an electrode wire in an aperture of an atomizer of the cylinder 2 (the piston of the cylinder 2 is with ВМТ). With the assistant slowly scroll коленвал in a direction of its rotation and watch position of a wire in the course of rotation. As soon as the wire will occupy the highest position, the piston is established in ВМТ.
The prevention

At rotation of a cranked shaft highly hold a management chain that it has not jammed.


9. Hang a lever pusher (9).
10. Stop a cranked shaft for what establish the first transfer and tighten a lay brake.
11. In the chamber of compression of the cylinder create superfluous pressure a minimum 5 bar (nearby 5 атм.). For this purpose twist подсоединительный a hose (4) devices of the control of tightness of the cylinder with connecting detail Mercedes-604 589 006300 in the prechamber (an atomizer aperture).
12. Through a hose of compressed air support constantly in the cylinder superfluous pressure, at least, 5 bar.
13. Establish a press detail (5) lever pushers (9) on a plate клапанной springs. Сориентируйте press and mobile details in parallel each other. Fix a mobile detail a bolt (8).
14. Remove a valve spring.
The prevention

Klapannuju spring do not remove without use of compressed air, differently there can be valve and piston damages.


15. Remove from a core of the valve of a detail of a rod of the valve (14) by means of a tweezers or a magnet.
16. Take a plate of the valve (15) and a spring of the valve (17).
17. Remove маслоотражательный a cap from a core of the valve (16) by means of a special grip (03), for example, HAZET 791-6.

The prevention

Do not damage a core of the valve and directing the valve!


18. Remove the bottom spring plate (20) and check up on absence of damages, if necessary, replace.
19. If it is necessary, smooth out a core flute fine-grained наждачным a cloth.
20. Check up deterioration of directing valves in area прилегания to them of caps. If dense landing маслоотражательных caps is not provided, it is necessary to replace their directing (work for repair shop).

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Replace new запрессованные details of a rod of the valve and a plate of a spring of the valve.
2. Directing the valve with the loosened rings on маслоотражательных caps require replacement (work for repair shop).
3. Oil a cap (16) cores of the valve and manually insert by means of assembly оправки (04).
4. Establish a spring and a plate of the valve and compress a valve spring.
5. Establish details of a rod of the valve and unclench клапанную a spring.
6. In the same way replace caps on cores of other valves.
7. Lower compressed air.
8. Establish camshafts.
9. Establish atomizers.
10. Establish картер camshafts.
11. Fix a cover of wires of the engine on a forward wall of a body.
