THE GENERAL DATA

Sign of deterioration of sealing linings of cores of valves (маслоотражательных caps) – the high expense of oil. Caps can be removed and at the established head of the block of cylinders. The lever pusher with a support, for example, Mercedes-601 589 025 900, 111 589, 186 100 and 111 589 3000 (a magnetic pusher) is thus necessary. If such special tool is not present, it is necessary to disassemble a head of the block of cylinders.

After dismantling of a head and at the big run necessarily replace маслоотражательные caps.


The prevention

If details of management are used by valves again, they need to be established on former places. That them not to mix, we recommend to provide the panel for storage.


Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disassemble натяжитель chains.
2. Remove a camshaft.
3. Take тарельчатый a pusher by means of a rubber siphon (diameter of 30 mm), for example, HAZET 735-2. Do not apply a magnetic siphon: the sliding surface тарельчатого a pusher is thus magnetised, and on it the smallest metal shaving that promotes damage тарельчатых pushers and cams is postponed. The siphon can be made independently, having used a sucker and a wall hook.

The prevention

Before pusher extraction carefully clear its surface.

At compression of a spring of the valve the corresponding piston should be in position ВМТ of ignition. As at removal of a camshaft the cylinder 1 is established in ВМТ ignitions, it is expedient to begin with removal клапанных springs of the cylinder 1.


4. Screw a basic crosspiece for a lever pusher on a head of the block of cylinders.
5. Push out downwards by means of a lever pusher of a plate of springs of inlet and final valves of the cylinder 1. The cylinder 1 is in front on the party of a chain of management, the cylinder 4 is behind on the flywheel party.
6. Take by means of a tweezers or a magnet crackers (202).
7. Slowly unclench клапанную a spring (198).
8. Remove a plate of a spring (201) and a spring. (203) тарельчатые pushers, (197) bottom plates клапанных springs.
9. In repair shop for engines with the big run it is possible to check up force клапанных springs.
10. Remove the second клапанную a spring of the cylinder 1.
11. Maslootrazhatelnye caps (199–200) take by means of a special grip, for example, HAZET 791-6.
The prevention

Try not to damage thus a core of the valve and directing the valve.


12. Remove agnails from bore of a core of the valve.
The prevention

Replace запрессованные crackers of the valve and a spring plate. At dismantled клапанных springs, plates of springs and crackers it is impossible to rotate the engine, since. Valves lean against pistons and can fall in the cylinder.



Installation

The facet (arrow) is displaced.
Internal diameter d = 7,3 mm.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Oil new маслоотражательные caps and by means of assembly оправки, for example, HAZET 2577, establish on a core.
The prevention

Do not mix caps for final and inlet valves.


2. Establish клапанные springs from below according to their colouring.
3. Put on plates of springs of valves and press on them from below, enter crackers into corresponding flutes on cores of valves.
4. Establish in ВМТ ignitions the following piston and replace маслоотражательные caps for what turn the engine on 1/2 turns for the central bolt of a belt pulley of a cranked shaft while the notch designating 180 , will not be established under the index on картере. Thus, the piston of the third cylinder is in ВМТ ignitions (an operating procedure of cylinders 1–3–4–2). Then corresponding turn on a half-turn in position ВМТ of ignition establishes pistons 4 and 2.
The prevention

At engine rotation raise an operating chain that it was not involved inside. In a workshop the special supporting wheel for a management chain is for this purpose used.

5. Establish тарельчатые pushers and a camshaft.
6. Establish the device of a tension of a chain.
