In diesel engines in the cylinder pure air is sucked in and is exposed there to strong compression. Thanks to it the temperature in cylinders raises to temperature of ignition of diesel fuel (nearby 600 °). When the piston is near to the top dead point, fuel is injected into compressed air and самовоспламеняется, therefore there is no necessity for spark plugs. But in very cold engine compression cannot lead to ignition temperature. Therefore for heating in each vortical chamber of a diesel engine there is a candle накаливания which eats from the pressure submitted through the relay of a preliminary warming up.
The fuel pump (the pump of atomizers) receives fuel from топливоподкачивающего the pump. Diesel fuel moves in the fuel pump where the high pressure necessary for its injection (100–125 bar) is created. The regulator of the fuel pump operates quantity of injected fuel according to actuating of a pedal of an accelerator. In the fullness of time fuel is injected through atomizers into the prechamber of the corresponding cylinder. Before fuel will arrive in the fuel pump, it passes through the heat exchanger. There fuel preliminary gets warm, that strongly was not condensed and did not create a stopper in топливопроводах and the filter. The fuel filter detains mechanical impurity and water and consequently it is extremely necessary to change the filter according to the maintenance manual.
Fuel and топливоподкачивающий pumps do not require maintenance service. Both pumps are put in action from a cranked shaft through a chain of management which puts in action as well a cam-shaft. The aperture in a head of the block of cylinders provides greasing of each of two pumps with engine oil.
