In model Mercedes of a C-class stand рядные, 4 or 6-cylinder engines.

In the motor block from grey pig-iron apertures of working cylinders are turned. At presence on their walls задиров or рисок they can be chiseled in a specialised workshop. Therefore pistons should be established in working cylinders with a tightness. In the bottom of the motor block the cranked shaft which is fixed in 5 and 7 bearings коленвала is located. By means of the bearing of sliding the rods putting in action pistons, are connected with cranked shaft. From below the engine the oil pallet is attached, – in it the engine oil demanded for greasing and cooling gathers. From above to the motor block the head of cylinders executed from aluminium which possesses good теплопроводимостью fastens and it is much easier some grey pig-iron. The head of cylinders is made by a principle of a cross-section stream. That is топливовоздушная the mix enters on one party of a head of cylinders while hot gases are pushed out from an opposite side. Thanks to a principle of a cross-section stream the best gas exchange is carried out. In a head of cylinders there are two camshafts: one for inlet, and another for final valves. Four valves directly are resulted from a cam-shaft through тарельчатые pushers. Hydraulic тарельчатые pushers provide automatically uniform backlash of valves at any service conditions thanks to what adjustment of backlashes of valves within the limits of servicing is not required.

Engine greasing is provided with the oil pump. It is strengthened ahead on the block of cylinders and resulted by means of an additional roller chain. Oil sucked in from the oil pallet through apertures and channels reaches bearings коленвала and cam-shafts, and also working surfaces of cylinders.

The pump of a cooling liquid at 4-cylinder engines is fixed ahead on the motor block, and at 6-cylinder – sideways the motor block. The pump is resulted from ridge клинового a belt which in addition results the generator and the steering pump. Keep in mind that the contour of system of cooling should be filled annually with a fresh mix of antifreeze and anticorrosive means on a basis декальцинированной waters.
