THE GENERAL DATA


Tyre covers of the balanced wheels wear out approximately in regular intervals on all racetrack of a protector at diligent observance of the ordered pressure of inflating and at correct installation of position of wheels and normal functioning of shock-absorbers. At non-uniform deterioration of tyre covers technical diagnosing of malfunctions in the corresponding chapter see. It is impossible to make a certain conclusion about durability шинных products as term of their service depends on various factors:

 – Surfaces of a road cloth;
 – Pressure of air in beefy tyres;
 – A movement mode;
 – Weather (weather conditions).

First of all, at a sports mode of movement, sharp dispersal and strong braking of the tyre are exposed to fast deterioration.


The prevention

Bodies of traffic police demand, that tyres wore out only to depth of flutes протекторного drawing in 1,6 mm, namely, flutes протекторного drawing should have on all racetrack of a protector depth not less than 1,6 mm. However for the purpose of safety it is recommended to replace tyres already at height of drawing of a protector not less than 2 mm.


If the height of drawing of a protector comes nearer to prospective admissible depth of flutes протекторного drawing, i.e. If located in any point of a circle of the tyre the deterioration indicator any more does not fix протекторного drawing tyres should be replaced.
The prevention

М+S – Tyres of cars for driving on dirty and snow-covered roads with special drawing of a protector have sufficient influence on a dirt and snow only in the event that them протекторный drawing still has depth not less than 4 mm.

Investigate the tyre on presence of places of cuts and by means of a small screw-driver establish depth of cuts. If cuts reach a tyre cover skeleton because of getting water the steel cord of the radial tyre is exposed to corrosion. Thanks to it under known conditions the racetrack of a protector and the tyre comes off a skeleton is broken off. Therefore with a view of safety replace the tyre at deep cuts in protector drawing.
