14.2.1. The general information
THE GENERAL DATA

Signalling devices, the device of illumination of symbols and internal illumination: check up their functioning.

Check up external illumination, if necessary adjust headlights.

Check up a sound signal.

Check up on deterioration rubber brushes of screen wipers.

SIGNALLING DEVICES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Include ignition (turn the ignition key in position "2").
2. Light signalling devices approximately for 30 seconds and then extinguish. Check up, whether all lamps according to car equipment light up.
3. The signalling device of system of packing and a tension of seat belts (an inflatable pillow of safety) should go out not later than approximately in 4 seconds.
4. Include a headlight, put in action the blinking light-signal device and check up signalling devices.

EXTERNAL ILLUMINATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Check up on damage and penetration of water of glass of signalling devices of forward and back illumination.
2. Include external illumination and check up its functioning.

Check of regulation of an angle of slope of an optical axis of headlights

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Start the engine and leave it to idle.
2. Include a passing light.
3. Establish in various positions a regulator (proof-reader) of an angle of slope of an optical axis of headlights and check, whether both light bunches of headlights simultaneously move.

Clearing of a telescopic core of the aerial

1. Extend the aerial or put forward it, having included a radio receiver.
2. Clear a telescopic core a clearing cloth fabric.
