THE GENERAL DATA

There are two variants of check of the storage battery. Depending on them use of various test devices is required.

Check of density of electrolit

In a combination to pressure measurement the actual density of electrolit allows to draw a conclusion on degree разряженности the accumulator.

To check it is applied storage денсиметр with a pipette. The more relative density (electrolit density) drained in electrolit, the plunges a float (ареометр) more deeply. On a scale it is possible to consider density of electrolit in the form of relative density (g/ml) or degrees of Bome (+ as Ve).

Consistently check up each separate element, all elements of a cell should have identical density of electrolit (the maximum difference 0, 04 g/ml). Otherwise the faulty storage battery can become isolated.

Check of the storage battery under loading

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Connect the voltmeter to battery poles.
2. Instructions: if pressure of the storage battery (without connection of consumers) is less 12 In it is discharged also it it is necessary to recharge.
3. Start the engine and consider pressure.
4. In the course of start of the engine at the charged accumulator room of the battery pressure should be not more low 8 In (at electrolit temperature nearby +20 ).
5. If pressure falls down at once and in cells the various density of electrolit the faulty accumulator can become isolated has been fixed.

The general pressure can be measured by means of the device for check of a condition of storage batteries. Pay attention to recommendations of the manufacturer about care of the storage battery.
