10.4. Types of shock-absorbers

Shock-absorbers on a design share on two basic types: two-trumpet and one-trumpet shock-absorbers.

The one-trumpet shock-absorber:

1. Atmospheric pressure.

2. The valve regulating resistance to compression.

3. The valve regulating resistance to a stretching.

The two-trumpet shock-absorber
